Aloe Vera is a plant, which is available in all kitchens and garden. It contains properties which balances the PH scale of the scalp thereby promoting hair growth. Scrap fresh Aloe Vera gel and apply that directly to the scalp. Rinse after about 30 minutes with water only or mild shampoo. Aloe Vera gel mixed with coconut oil is also a magical mixture that can do wonders. Repeat the exercise two to three times a week. The aloe vera gel consumed on an empty stomach is also a great solution to the problem of hair fall and the overall health.
Freshly grated coconut contains the natural coconut milk, which can be squeezed out and applied to the scalp and left overnight and rinsed the next day. Coconut milk contains iron, potassium and other minerals along with essential fats that promote hair thickening.
The egg contains minerals like zinc, sulphur, iodine, phosphorous and so on along with higher protein content in it. Raw whipped egg can be applied to the scalp down till the tip of the hair. Cover the hair with a mask. Leave the mask for half an hour to one hour. Rinse with mild shampoo in cool water. Repeat the exercise regularly as in once a week at least for jaw dropping results. This leaves the hair soft and lustrous apart from making it bouncy.
Olive oil contains properties that can soften and strengthen the hair. Olive can be heated so that it becomes warm and applied to the scalp. Leave the oil for an hour and then rinse with cool water. Olive oil mixed with honey can be used as a hair mask. Leave it for 30 minutes and then rinse. Do the exercise for at least once in a week for the desired results.
Commonly known as amla in India, it is an antioxidant possessing antibacterial and exfoliating properties. Amla mixed in heated coconut oil should be applied to the scalp. Leave the mask for an hour and then rinse with cool water. Even amla powder mixed with hot water can be used as a hair mask. Amla should also be consumed for healthy hair and overall health.
It is another everyday kitchen ingredient, which contains properties that prevents hair loss. Soak fenugreek seeds in water overnight. In the morning grind the soaked seeds and apply the paste on to the scalp. Rinse using a mild shampoo. Repeat this at least once a week.
Green tea contains antioxidants which promote the growth of hair and restores back the lost hair. Prepare green tea allow the tea to cool down to a temperature that is warm enough to apply on to the hair. Apply the mixture to the scalp and then rinse normally with cool water. It is another grandmother’s solution for the hair fall problem. Mix pissed hibiscus flower and leaves to the coconut oil and apply the mask on to the scalp. Leave the mask for some time and then rinse. Repeat for wonderful results.
Castor oil is known as Rēṇṛī kā tēla in Hindi. It has been used since ages by our grandmothers for the protection of hair from hair fall. The thick oil has the capacity to spread over to every part of the hair and get absorbed. It contains vitamin E and fatty acids which help in promoting hair growth. Heated castor oil should be allowed to cool down so that it becomes warm. This oil should be applied to the scalp till the tips of the hair and left over night. Rinse in the morning using a mild shampoo and cold water. Frequently repeat the process for fast results.
