Sideways Movement Of Eye Ball
In this yoga exercise one has to keep their eyes wide open. Now open and close your eyelids several times. Now look at your extreme right and extreme left sides alternatively and then look upward. Doing for 2-3 times a day for few days will ease the movement of eye lids properly and relieves you from puffy eyes.
Diagonal Movement Of Eye Balls
In this yoga exercise one has to look at all four corners diagonally and relax by bringing your eyes to centreposition. This also aims at exercising the eye balls and makes their movement smooth and easy. Only move your eyelids and keep your head straight. Perform this exercise three times daily to give complete rest to your eyes.
Notice how the needles of the clock move. In this exercise you need to move the eye balls in exactly the same way as the clock needles move. Now reverse the movement of your eye balls and make it anticlockwise. One needs to do three sets in clockwise direction and three sets in anti-clockwise direction. In between you can take thirty seconds of rest. Once you are done relax by closing your eyes for few minutes. This is also a good exercise for eye balls and frees you from puffy eyes.
A gentle message is required to repair broken tissues and swelling in the eyes. Eye massage should be done very gently and slowly. It helps your eyes by stimulate nerve and tissues of eye muscles. To perform message you need to use your ring finger and message the outer area of both eyes around the socket bone.Now use both of your index fingers and gently press the temples and massage them too. Focus And Block
In this yoga exercise you need to open your eyes wide and now gently keep your palms to eyes distance with fingers facing to the sky. Breathe in and move your palm away. Breathe out and bring your palms to the original position. Do this exercise three times a day. It is beneficial for curing puffiness of the eyes.
Focus On Object
In this yoga exercise you need to get both of the palms in front at some distance with the fingers pointing in the sky. Inhale and move away your palms to focus on an object kept at some distance. Exhale and again bring both of the palms closer in front of you. Lastly focus on the palms. Do this exercise for three more times.
One of the causes of Puffy eyes is accumulation of fluids in the eyes. When one sleeps, one does not blink eyes which results in collection of fluid in the eye region. Palming is one of the commonest and effective yoga exercise which aims at giving complete relaxation to the eyes. To do this exercise, rub both of the palms together and you will feel energy production and heat created within your palms. Now close your eyes and slowlykeep these heated palms on your eyelids and cover it completely. Your eyes will relax with the warmth of your palms and helps you get rid of puffiness.
Palming With Breathing
Another way of doing palming is by gently placing the palms over the eyelids and do continuous inhale and exhale while performing it. With the incoming and outgoing breaths, a rhythm is created and leads to a harmonious state.
This yoga exercise again aims at relaxing your eyes. In this state close your eyelids and with the tip of the middle finger and gently massage the corners of eyes in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. Now relax your eyes. Keep doing this exercise for next three times till your eyes gets rejuvenated and refreshed.
Sometimes you may also observe swelling and puffiness in your eyes after watching television, video games or sitting in front of computer screen for a long time. It is very important to take regular breaks while doing these activities and practice eye exercises diligently to reduce the risks of puffy eyes to a large extent.
