Start by lying down flat on the yoga mat. Your legs will be straight as you lie down flat. Start lifting your left leg slowly. You will move it in a 90 degree angle and upwards. You will then slowly lift your head from the floor and try to touch your chin and the left knee. You will try the same process with the right leg. You will turn your right foot outwards as to form 90 degrees. Your left foot will be forming 45 degrees angle. You should bend your right knee till it is just above your right ankle. Your aim will be to have your right thigh completely parallel to ground. You will again press a bit downwards and backwards from your outer heel, left leg. Slide your shoulders slowly to the back as you slowly extend your left arm as to reach the sky. Your right arm shall move towards your right foot in this position. It shall be between the big toe and your second toe. Your ribs, spine and hips shall be in line. Stay in this position for at least 8 breaths. You should repeat the exercise on your other side. It helps in toning abdominal muscles and causes fat reduction at a faster rate.
