Like its siblings, the iPad 3 WiFi is a futuristic tablet with high-end features like Siri (Apple’s language command app), IPS capacitive 9.7-inch touchscreen (similar to that in iPhone 4S), iOS 5.1, 1GHz Cortex A9 processor and PowerVR SGX543MP4 GPU.

Display

The new iPad 3 sports a Retina Display measuring 9.7 inches. The display sports 1536x2048p resolution. However, the iPad 3 falls behind the iPhone 4S in terms of pixel density (264ppi against 330ppi of iPhone 4S). But when the tablet is held 15 inches away, the picture quality gets flawless. The Retina Display renders true and vivid colors. But there is no match to the super AMOLED display that Samsung Galaxy Note offers.
