Acid reflux, commonly known as heartburn, is a condition wherein the acid (which comprises the liquid content) present in the stomach returns of refluxes into the food pipe (esophagus). A person suffering from acid reflux normally feels a burning sensation in his chest that spreads to the stomach and the throat.
The burning sensation is the result of acid moving up the food pipe. People suffer from continuous heartburn for a couple of days. In some extreme cases acid reflux can also cause severe pain in the chest, bad breath or halitosis and constriction in the throat.
Acid reflux is treated with antacid tablets. However, there are many natural remedies that can easily and effectively cure acid reflux. Given below is a list of home remedies that we recommend to treat acid reflux.
