Huawei Ascend D1 Quad XL Although Huawei is mostly popular among the electronic products other than mobiles, but the growing android industry leaves it no choice but to manufacture new android devices and already the market has noticed the honor and ascend series.

The Huawei ascend d quad has already received a lot of good feedback and to brighten the things up, here comes the Huawei ascend d quad XL version.

Huawei Ascend D1 Quad XL Features

Body

Measuring 129 x 64 x 10.9 mm and tipping the scales at 150 grams, the phone isn’t very heavy but not very light either and is fairly thin. One could bet that if looks could kill, this phone will.

Body

There are three touch based keys for the basic functions: going back, home screen and action bar (formerly the menu button). One can easily mistake this phone with the Samsung Galaxy s3.

Display

The IPS+LCD capacitive touchscreen is just flawless, the text is crisp, the color depth is excellent (justified by the 16 million color support).

Display

hence the viewing experience is just a heavenly treat. 4.5 inches coupled and ~326ppi pixels density with the display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels makes gaming experience an awesome experience. The phone supports multitouch, too.

Hardware

Internal memory of 8GB out of which about 6GB is user available makes enough room for most of the apps and other stuff. But those HD movies or videos and media files have to kept in a memory card, thus the phone also supports memory expandability via micro SD card upto 32GB.

The 1GB of RAM keeps all those apps running without any lags. The processor capacity was a mind blowing quad-core 1.4GHz and the Huawei K3V2 chipset to spice the things up. This makes it a performance powerhouse without any doubt.

Camera

The 8 MP camera with dual LED flash made the perfect pictures even in low light conditions and the resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels made the colors look sharp with great depth.

Camera

Other features added along for the camera are autofocus and geo-tagging. The camera can also record full HD 1080p videos at 30fps and the secondary 1.3 MP camera can also record 720p HD videos at 30fps.

Battery

No word has been out on the battery life yet. The only thing known is that it is 2600 mAh Lithium Polonium Battery.

Extra features

Here are some extra features that make it complete:

Android ice cream sandwich v4.0 support

GPS with A-GPS support

HTML5 and Adobe Flash support

Java with MIDP emulator

Price Of Huawei Ascend D1 Quad XL

Hence there is a quality phone with quality features at a premium price at Approx 28000 INR. This is one of those competitors of the Samsung Galaxy S3 but the battery life still remains a question though. But overall, great features and priced a little less than the galaxy S3 makes this phone a must-buy.
