In the last few years, Huawei also has emerged as yet another smartphone company which has introduced stylish and inviolable smartphones in the Indian market and that too in very low budget with amazing features which you won’t get in any other company’s smartphone at this much price and features.

Although Huawei smartphones are not in the news that much as compared to Samsung’s, HTC or other smartphones are. In the first quarter of the year 2012, Huawei unveiled yet another smartphone, the Ascend P1 is the first of Huawei’s high-power Android models to hit the UK, offering a large 4.3″ display, coupled with a dual-core processor running at 1.5GHz along with android OS 4.0 (ICS)

It is a light weight smartphone with just 110 g, it can easily carried anywhere without any problem. Despite of its large display, it easily gets fits in hands.

It has more angular round edges as compared to others with no sharp edges. It is resistant to scratch and looks like a high class phone in the hands. Well it doesn’t offer that much good grip and is a bit slippery because of its metallic shiny surface but that is not big issue and overcomes over its other features.

Huawei’s has used three Android buttons which comes with most smartphones, Menu, Home and Back, with no place here for the multitasking button found.

Huawei Ascend P1 features you a chipset of TI OMAP 4460 with Dual-core 1.5 GHz Cortext-A9 solid and fast processor which is the latest available in the market. It enables you to do multiple tasks simultaneously without getting slow down or getting hanged.

It runs on the latest android OS 4.0 (ICS) so you can have access to all the android apps or software’s available in the android market and Google play. It also contains a micro SD card slot which can be expandable up to 32 GB. I supports internal 1 GB RAM and on board 4 GB built-in memory.

Battery

When we came to know about its battery life, I was seriously shocked as it keeps giving us shocks because at this price we were not expecting this much god features from this smartphone.

Long battery life is one advantages of the of this smartphone as it contains a standard battery of Li-Ion 1670 mAh which is not quite powerful as compared to its processor configurations. So you might have to charge your smartphone quite frequently because of its short battery life.

There is no official information about its talk time and stand by. But you will not be able to remove the battery as Huawei has sealed the battery to achieve its slim look.

Camera

Huawei Ascend P1 supports a strong 8 MP camera at the back of the screen. The camera quality is fantastic when it comes to capturing your pictures. With auto focus and dual LED flash features it enhances your camera experience.

Along with these great features, it offers you more features like Geo-tagging, HDR, face and smile detection which adds to the taste. It also has a front camera of 1.3 MP mainly for 3G calling purposes

Connectivity

If we talk about its wireless connectivity, it has also has got support for Bluetooth (v3.0 with A2DP, HS) letting you to share pictures and files with your friends and relatives very effectively. It also has Wi-Fi availability (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA) enabling you to access to internet facilities anywhere you want easily over wireless network and doesn’t have to spend too much on internet recharge card which is the problem especially with the teenagers.

Additional Features

Above all of the described features, it has got something extra to do with it. With sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, GPS support, SNS integration, photo viewer and editor (in-built), predictive text input, 3.5 mm jack for radio, MMS, Email and lot more.

Having look at the features of Huawei Ascend P1, we conclude that it’s a power pack smartphone by Huawei. Solid processor, excellent camera quality, long battery life, large display with sensitive touch and not to forget its trendy look, all that a user wants to have in its smartphone.

Well it’s a complete smartphone in every respect. It is expected to give high competition to smartphones like Galaxy s2, Sony Xperia ion and other smart smartphones and will be able to make its place in the market very soon with ease. We suggest the users to go for it without any hesitation and you will enjoy having it.

Huawei Ascend P1 is priced for $600 approx. which is fairly good but costly than its previous Huawei members. It is available in black colour only.
