A gaming laptop meant for those who want to experience the best of both worlds whether used for business presentations or for entertainment. With the advent of Windows 8, this new device is basically targeted for the gamers looking for high end configurations for the ultimate gaming experience.

The Ideapad consists of a metallic body that is cool to touch but leaves fingerprints on the body which is badly visible.

Opening the lid, the red dual layer Accu type keyboard comes into notice which can be illuminated, by choice & an intelligent touchpad. At the bottom of the laptop, there is a textured plastic cover. Wearing a thickness of 1.29 inches & weighing near about 3 kg, this device feels a much compelling proposition.

It packs in Intel 3rd generation Core i7 2.40GHz processor & 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM. With a 1 TB hard drive & 16 GB SSD cache, it does all the work to carry all the things ranging from your favourite tracks to important documents, all in one go. It also comes with 2 GB Nvidia GeForce GT 650M GPU that supports the latest DirectX 11 required to run the high graphic PC games, ready to be released in 2013.

On the left of the device there comes a VGA port, HDMI port, Ethernet port & two USB 2.0 ports. There’s also a button to the left of the cable connector which is named as One Key Rescue System. An optical reader, headphone-microphone combo jack & an always powered USB 3.0 port lines up the right side. For the priciest model, this device also encloses a Blu-Ray Drive. To the front, there comes a SD card slot. The latest technology that warms up this device is ultrabay which is an interchangeable bay that allows users to add more storage space or another graphics card or even a cooling fan to keep the system running in times of heavy loading.

This mean machine’s ginormous screen size has its benefits & the 15.6 inch HD screen comes with anti-glare 16:9 widescreen LED display which is quite impressive but lacks the touch input, which could have been excellent for a Windows 8 powered device.
