The Meizu MX 4-core is powered by Ice Cream Sandwich based Flyme 1.0 Operating system with 1400 MHz Quad-core Cortex A9 processor and Mali-400MP graphics. It is backed with 1 GB RAM and Exynos chipset. The new MX-4 core is available in two models: 32 GB and 64 GB (internal storage).

The Meizu MX 4-core has 4.0 inches Gorilla glass ASV capacitive touchscreen with multitouch feature. Its display supports 288 ppi pixel density and offers 16 M colors. In terms of dimensions the Meizu MX 4 – core measures 121.3 x 63.3 x 10.3 mm and weighs around 139 grams.
The rear of Meizu MX 4-core is made of plastic and comes in five different colors: violet, pink, green, white, and blue. It has volume control on the left side and 3.5 mm audio jack at the top.
