Ricoh CX6 is another addition to the premium range of cameras offered by Ricoh. Ricoh CX6 offers 10.00 million pixels and comes with Autofocus function. This Autofocus function offering autofocus time of .1 second enables you to take high quality pictures without moving the camera too much.

Ricoh CX6 comes with back-illuminated CMOS sensor with advanced Smooth Imaging Engine IV processing. These features enable you to capture images even in the absence of sufficient light. So in case you are planning a night-out with your friends, you can use Ricoh CX6 to capture interesting moments of your entire trip.

Ricoh CX6 also offers noise reduction function. It is interesting to note that noise reduction level can be set at different levels including auto, weak, strong and so on. Ricoh CX6 also enables you to record High Definition (1280 x 720 pixel) movies.

You can also enjoy high definition movies and images captured with Ricoh CX6 on your large screen High Definition television with the use of HDMI cable which is sold separately.

Shutter Priority Mode

With inbuilt Shutter Priority Mode, you can select the appropriate shutter speed. In case you are interested in capturing image of an object that is moving with a high speed, you can use this mode to set a faster shutter speed.

Macro and Other Shooting Modes

Ricoh CX6 comes with a unique Macro mode. This mode enables you to capture images within 1 cm for wide angle and 28 cm for telephoto. Ricoh CX6 comes with various other shooting modes like bleach bypass, soft focus, cross process, toy camera and so on.

Each of these modes can be used to capture images to suit your specific requirements. Besides there are other specific modes like cooking, fireworks, pets, portrait, sports and so on.

Continuous Shooting and Memory

Ricoh CX6 offers a continuous shooting speed of 5 frames per second and a continuous shooting capacity of 999 pictures. Ricoh CX6 has inbuilt memory of 40 MB and supports SD memory card, SDHC memory card (up to 32 GB). With this kind of memory support, you can store a number of your favourite images in the camera itself.

Zoom and Monitor

Ricoh CX6 offers an optical zoom of 10.7x, a special resolution of 2x which is extendable up to 21.4x when used in conjunction with optical zoom. Ricoh CX6 also offers a digital zoom of 4.8x which can be extended up to 103x when used with optical and special resolution zoom. Ricoh CX6 comes with a transparent LCD monitor having a size of 3 inches.

Size, Battery and Colour

Ricoh CX6 has a size of 103.9 mm x 58.9 mm x 28.5 mm and weighs around 201 gram (with battery and SD memory card). Without battery and SD memory card, camera weighs around 180 gram only. Ricoh CX6 comes with a rechargeable battery DB-100. Ricoh CX6 comes in three different colours – black, silver and pink.
