Samsung has launched its new compact camera, the NX200. This 20.3 Megapixel amazing light weight camera has all the features that meet the need of not only the photographic enthusiast but you also can do some serious photography using this.

Design

The new Samsung NX200 is a neatly build light weight compact camera. Samsung has put much careful consideration while designing the device without sacrificing its functionality. The camera is built with magnesium alloy and phatic.

With sharper edges, carefully designed curves and rubberized finger grip the Samsung NX 200 gives the user superior handling while shooting. But in this new camera Samsung has made certain sacrifices like there is no inbuilt flash rather the company is providing a detachable flash with the camera.

Again, there is lack of view finder in the camera; instead there is a 3 inches OLED screen for viewing the subjects. Without even the view finder the user will not have any problem shooting at difficult angles as the OLED screen have really nice viewing angles.

On the top of the camera body the user can find the On/Off button, the mode dial, the flash mount, the zooming wheel and the internal microphone for video recording. Just beside the OLED screen the user can have the one touch push button for full HD video recording and the four way wheel through which the user can select the shooting mode, ISO sensitivity, and the AF mode.

Other function buttons like the playback button, Menu button, exposure compensation, an Fn button that activates the ifunctionalities, are situated very comfortably within the reach of the user at the back of the camera.

Technical Specifications

The Samsung NX200 has a 20.3 MP APS-C CMOS sensor for crystal clear images even in darker conditions. This is the highest megapixel camera with 20MegaPixels in its class. The camera comes with an 18-55mm lens which has Samsung’s Eye function button attached to the body of the lens.

The benefit of having this Eye function button is that the user can access the control functions and change the settings of the camera on the lens itself without even touching the buttons on the body of the camera. With the help of the lens ring the user can adjust the shutter speed, aperture, white balance etc.

Shooting with the new Samsung NX200 is itself an experience because the user can capture in HD. This amazing camera gears users up for continuous shooting at 7fps and allows the user to shoot panoramic photographs either in horizontal or vertical mode.

The Samsung NX200 allows the user to capture high contrast videos in HD at 1080p30 mode; the user can have Program, Auto, shutter Priority and Manual mode while shooting for video or still images. The 1030mAh rechargeable battery produces amazing performance and can shoot up to 320 images without worrying.
