Along with Acro S, Sony announced another rugged version of Xperia series phone and named it Sony Xperia Go (also known as Sony Xperia advance, Sony ST27i, Sony ST27a). Features Of Sony Xperia Go
The Sony Xperia Go runs on Google Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System (planning to upgrade to v4.0 ICS) along with dual-core 1000 MHz NovaThor U8500 Cortex A9 processor. Under the hood, this phone has 512 MB RAM and 8 GB internal storage (out of which 4 GB is accessible by users).
There is a microSD card slot under the back of the phone which lets users to increase its storage capacity up to 32 GB. That is not all; this phone also features Mali-400 GPU and Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine which will make your gaming and video watching experience a pleasant one.
Display And Measurement
The Sony Xperia Go features 3.5 inches LED backlit LCD display with capacitive touchscreen. Its display offers 16 million colors and screen resolution of 320 x 480 pixels (165 ppi pixel densities). Sony has played an important role in terms of protection of this phone. It has scratch-resistant glass and its body is dust and water proof (certified by IP67). The new Xperia Go measures 111 x 60.3 x 9.8 mm and weighs around 110 grams.
The Sony Xperia Go comes in three colors: Black, Yellow and White. This phone has Volume controls and microUSB port on the right side. Power key is situated on the top while 3.5 mm audio jack has its port on the left side.
Sony has not done really well in terms of camera. The new Xperia Go has 5 MP camera at the back with auto focus, 16X digital zoom and LED flash. With the camera resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection, 3D sweep panorama features you can click good pictures. Video recording can also be done. This phone does not have secondary phone.

The Sony Xperia Go is shipped with standard 1305 mAh Li-Ion battery which offers talk time of 6 hours 30 minutes on 2G and 5 hours 30 minutes on 3G. It lasts up to 520 hours on 2G and 460 hours on 3G during stand-by mode. It lasts up to 45 hours during music play back.
Price And Availability Of Sony Xperia Go
Though, there is no official announcement from Sony about the price of this phone but it’s expected that the price tag would be approximately $340 or INR 19.000.
