Apply that paste on your scalp and leave it for 40 minutes. Give your scalp a weekly fenugreek treatment. Within few days you will get rid of dandruff problem.

Lemon:

Lemon is very effective to remove the problem of dandruff. Squeeze one lemon and take the juice only. Mix equal amount of water or coconut oil with the lemon juice. Lemon juice is a natural acid, so do not apply it raw on your scalp.

Raw application of lemon juice may make your hair grey. Massage diluted lemon juice on your scalp and leave it overnight. Next morning wash your hair with any mild shampoo. Lemon juice being acid controls the oil secretion of scalp and makes hair dandruff free.

Basil:

Basil (Tulsi) leaves have an antibacterial quality. Take some fresh tulsi leaves and make a paste of them. Apply that green paste on your scalp and leave for an hour. Then wash it with plain water. Regular use of basil may solve the problem of dandruff. To enhance the power of this pack you may also add fresh Indian gooseberry paste with basil paste.

Mint:

Mint works well in any type of skin rash whether it is acne, pimples or dandruff. Crush mint and strain the juice. Apply that juice on your scalp and wait for an hour before washing it with plain water. Mint not only solves the problem of dandruff, being cool in nature it keeps your head cool and solve the sleeping problem.

Hot Oil Treatment:

Hot oil treatment is effective to remove dandruff. For this treatment you may use coconut oil, almond oil or olive oil. Take a bowl of boiling water. Pour some oil in a metal container. Place that container on hot water. The oil will become hot automatically.

Now massage that warm oil on your scalp with the help of your fingers. After completing massaging, cover your hair with a thick turquoise towel. Covering will help oil to get absorbed by the skin of the scalp. Wait for an hour or two and then wash your hair with mild shampoo.

Tea Tree Oil:

Tea tree oil has antifungal quality and is very effective to treat dandruff and other skin rash. Mix 1 teaspoon tea tree oil in some hot water. Massage that oil on your scalp. Wait for 10-15 minutes. Then mix some lemon juice in a mug of cold water. Wash your head with this lemony cool water. Again wash your head with pure and clean water.

Neem Leaves:

Take some fresh neem leaves and boil it in water in a big container. When the water is reduced to one third, strain the dark green and bitter juice. Wash your hair everyday with this bitter water to solve the problem of dandruff. Neem water works on dandruff almost like magic.

Henna and Amla:

Henna is very effective to remove dandruff from your hair. Soak some henna powder in warm water. Mix 1 table spoon of dry amla( Indian Gooseberry) powder in it. Make a smooth paste and apply it on your scalp. Wait till they become dry. Then wash your hair with plain water. Give your hair at least one weekly henna treatment to solve the problem of dandruff.

Ginger and Onion:

Ginger and onion are good herbal medicine for dandruff. Grind both ginger and garlic into 1:1 ratio. Apply that paste on your scalp. Keep it for 30 minutes and then wash it with plain water. Combination of ginger and garlic not only solves the dandruff problem, it also boosts up the new growth of hair.

Rosemary and Olive Oil:

Crush few rosemary and mix it with olive oil. Mixture of rosemary and olive oil effectively clears dandruff from your hair.

Thyme:

Boil 1 table spoon of dried thyme in 2 cups of water for 15 minutes. When the mixture cools down massage it on your scalp and leave it for 30-40 minutes. You will get benefited from regular use of thyme water.

Beetroot:

Grate one beetroot and strain the red juice. Massage the red juice on your scalp every night. Beet juice is useful in dandruff.

Snake gourd:

Snake gourd juice is very effective in the removal of dandruff. Massage the juice over the scalp and wash it with plain water after waiting for sometime.
