The model had been first made in the year 1936 with an 8-cylinder engine with 80 HP of displacement. Back then it had a top speed of 160 km/ph. The Mercedes Benz Maybach Edition of 125 s celebrated its 125th anniversary and remains to be the flagship car of the brand with Swarovski crystals inside. It has LED on the back centre armrest and there is also a laser engraved logo of Maybach, which has the Wilhelm Maybach signature stitched on the switch. There is also an upholstery with black leather. On the outside is a Tahiti black and Patagonia paint. It was one of the models that were ordered and not sold commercially.
6. Mercedes G55 AMG
This one is an office that was made exclusively for the royal family of Abu Dhabi. The Mercedes Benz SUV came with a 5.5 litre V8 that delivered 620 HP of displacement. It also has special additions like a 8-piston caliber on front and 4-piston brakes on rear. There was also 22-inch alloy rims and 8 fog lamps for better visibility in the dessert.
7. Maybach 57 Project Kahn
Mercedes Benz launched this Maybach 57 special edition that went as gift to Prince William and Katherine Middleton, the royal couple of Britain. It had earlier made similar versions but the special and exotic Mercedes Benz that was gifted to the royal couple had a pearl white paint job along with smoked glass interiors. It also features a 22-inch RS-D Kahn allot wheel along with a special number plate that said 4HRH or ‘For His royal highness’.
8. Mercedes 1965 Pullman Popemobile
This model was made in the year 1965 for Pope John Paul VI and has bullet proof glass windows. It also features flexible seating on the rear along with a wooden dashboard and brown leather seats. The V8 engine features in the top brass of racing cars. Though thousands of other editions were sold commercially, this one was customised for the Pope.
9. Mercedes Benz 1970 SWB600 limousine
Swanky limousine from Mercedes Benz was owned by Elvis Presley, the ’King of Rock n Roll’. It had a powdered blue tone and had interiors that were creamish. It featured an iconic logo ‘Taking care of Business’ in gold leaf. No wonder that it still has millions of takers today.
10. Mercedes Benz 2006 Brabus S320 CDI
Though many S 320 model of Mercedes were made, this one was really unique. It had the popular V12 Common Rail Diesel Engine, that was meant for racing luxury sedans. Alloy wheel sizes in the car ranged from 17-inches to 21-inches with 8-piston calipers that truly make it unique and exotic. On the whole the car was truly a masterpiece.
